The University of Savoie is spread over three sites: Chambéry, Le Bourget du Lac, and Annecy.
The Annecy site is organised into three UFRs (Training and Research Units) and has nearly 2,500 students :

On 7 July 2006, ESIA (Advanced School of Engineering of Annecy) and ESIGEC (Advanced School of Engineering of Chambéry) merged to become Polytech'Savoie.
